Itinerary :
From Paris, take the A10-E5 motorway down to Orléans, then the A71-E9 motorway going to Limoges, Toulouse. Exit at Limoges, direction Périgueux, by the RN 21.
At Thiviers, follow the Brantôme direction by the RD 707 and then the 78.
From Bordeaux take the A89 motorway direction Périgueux, Libourne. At St-Astier, just after Neuvic, take the RN 2089, direction Chancelade, and then the RD 939, direction Brantôme.
From Angoulême take the RD 939, direction Périgueux, Brantôme.
Make the most of your coming to Brantôme-canoë to discover our town, the Venice of the Périgord. This unique site – a small island surrounded by the Dronne – is overlooked by a cliff covered with trees and pierced by caves.
At its foot, the abbey and its famous bell tower from the 11th century. Come and admire the rib vaults of the cloister and the monastic buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries.
